Our Mission:

Our mission is to help any individual move and play in the machine we call the human body.  Whether for specific sport goals or regaining and maintaining healthy movement in life, M4SL will design the right plan for you.

Our Approach:

Our approach is to look at the entire human movement system, analyze dysfunction, and form corrective strategies to create biomechanical efficiency and mechanical advantage.  We utilize exercise science and various types of tissue modification to recreate balance to the structure.  Employing various modalities to not just align but also create new habits and patterns.

This approach creates balance in the machine which alleviate the stresses and strains that can create pain.  Common problems that are helped by this approach includes:  Low back pain, knee pain, foot pain, plantar fasciitis, hip pain, frozen shoulder, stiff neck, muscle cramps, and muscle soreness related to all types of orthopedic issues.

Since we look at the entire movement system and the exact kinetic chain that is creating an imbalance we are able to find and solve problems that other treatment modalities cannot completely restore.

Noell is the owner and founder of M4SL.  She has been working in corrective sciences and exercise science for over 15 years.  The creation of the corrective programming came from a story of coming back from her own bike racing career ending injury.  The struggle with those injuries spurred her passion for science and education in the human movement system.  She has also been an educational contributor to ACE and IDEA magazine.  She loves surfing, mountain biking, surf skating, snowboarding, and various fight sciences and arts.

Debi has been in the strength and conditioning world as a coach and trainer for over 20 years.  She conducts semi private and private sessions that are focused on reinforcing healthy movement patterns.  She is an integral part of the team that helps with the postural stability, functional strength, and motor pattern re-education.  Debi has a passion for volleyball, obstacle courses, and hanging out with her dog Roscoe at dog beach.

Katy Charlson, LMP, CMT, CSI

Katy is a practitioner of Structural Integration and has been working with various massage techniques for over 10 years.  Some of her specialized styles include sports massage, deep tissue massage, trigger point, neuromuscular release technique, and Reiki.  Her active life includes playing kickball and enjoying beach walks and hikes.  In the office you can book various styles of work, or work with her during bio-rehab sessions.

Jaclyn has a degree in Recreational Therapy and is a Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist. Jaclyn played Division 1 field hockey for Indiana University and has been a competitive athlete her whole life.  She loves working with all types of abilities and people.  She is a huge skydiver, beach goer and loves trying new physical challenges.

Matt has a formal background in emergency and trauma nursing, as well as emergency medical services, to amount to more than a decade of clinical experience that he combines with his lifelong passion for physical fitness, and his experiences as a certified health coach and CrossFit Level One trainer.  In his nursing experience, he has seen the effects of poor lifestyle choices revolving around diet, movement patterns, and exercise and actively promotes more a more optimal lifestyle to keep people out of pain and illness.  Matt loves hiking, surfing, and CrossFitting.
